Hi Dee,
Yes, Lamar is a great incentive for Manatee High. Do you have any idea what other Sanchez descendents are also alumni. His siblings, his nieces and nephews, you, your kids?

How many Sanchez descendants are also Manatee High alumni? Wow. At least three of the four Graham brothers attended there, however, not all graduated. In my own era there were the children of Elmer Graham: Toni, Joe, Marion, Peter (deceased) and Chuck; and the Sheffield cousins: Richard & Renee, Bonnie, Anitra & Donnie. Then, I know some of Joanne's children went to Manatee, at least Eddie and Shauna Dick Weeks. And probably Bonnie's oldest, Robin Fellows. Renee Sheffield Cobb's kids may have gone there as well, so as we get into these generations, it is hard to tell how many we may grow into. I'm pretty sure Graham and Elizabeth Luquette (Marion's kids) went there also. We would have to do a survey to find out. It would be a crowd. Interesting point.

PS. Yes, I'm a Manatee High alumn, but my kids all went to Gibbs High in Saint Petersburg.
