Cousin Earl Sanchez of Plant City and his wife, Debi Smith Sanchez, had a unique encounter with some of the Cuban Sanchez descendants when they visited Tolomato Cemetery in Saint Augustine seeking the grave of Francisco Xavier Sanchez.
Here a link to the story of the chance encounter as told in the Tolomato Cemetery blog:

James R. Sanchez (1806-1872) is one of Francisco X. Sanchez' nephews. His family was into the Sanchez Fleet business. There is a 1.2 cu.ft in the Younge Florida History Library at UF in Gainesville containing 99% correspondence to his son Edward Carrington Francis Sanchez from his brothers about the business.

BTW the only other item in the box besides Edward's mail is a receipt for George Washington Sanchez sale of one of his (Seminole War) Bounty Land certificates.
